Hoping to make it to my first this year. Planning to head out that way Friday afternoon then stay the week thru the Hershey fun. Doubt I'll be racing, but you never know what car I'll be driving to Hershey for work! LOL

 

We are planning on going and trying to camp. That will involve setting up in the dark! Do people generally get there on Friday night and camp Friday and Saturday nights?

Its the only way to fly...you get to enjoy the "nightlife"...

 

I plan to camp at the drags as well and that is the only way I know how to set up my tent, in the dark! Just ask my camp mates at the Showdown, right Slick50?

 

I've got to line up a dogsitter and figure out how to get them to her house then back to my house to trek up to the Drags. I don't want to miss this nightlife!

Yep! Cold as a witch's tit...but, fortunately, the "officers club" was propane heated to a balmy 90 degrees!

So friggin cold last year my outie went innie for a week, it was worth it though. This will be my third year, come over to Slick Devils camp, there is always plenty of food, but never firewood, strange....

Yep, We'll be there !!! Kim and I had a blast last year, the MOST FUN we ever had racing... cruising the track and visiting the MASH tent in the race car !!!!!! We're really looking forward to this -- the Verminator's really kicking this year. Heading to Maple Grove this weekend with ECG and NETO - see if we can hit the 10.5's...I know there's more in there - my fastest 1/8ths were at this show last year !!! See you all in a few weeks

 

How about that surprise 4AM monsoon last year-- that was a rude awakening, considering we crawled into the truck a couple minutes earlier. Damn Nightlife !!!!

 

Yeah...we were a bit worried, but, at least there was peace in the valley for racing...mostly, at least!

Ahhhh...Two nights in the Beaver!
It IS a beautiful valley...watching the cars at the top end with the mountains out behind them is killer, too.

Thats my poison right there, but cool fall evenings warrant Guiness and Cider, sounds odd, but we'll have plenty and it's GOOD, come over and introduce yourself to the Slick Devils, I'll hook you up with one in exchange for some rum.
