  1. Good story. But, it looks really dirty, and a lot like a head full of worms.

    Good old Texas music. :)

Denise, I have noticed all your phots are very clear and well focused. What do you shoot with? :)

  4. Looked like a fun time, I only went to a carshow this weekend.

I have seen them a couple of times, they put on a hell of a show.

Before my uncle went to prison in about 67', he came over to the house one day with this other musician (my uncle was a drummer), and gave my Mom, who was a Freshman in high school, a 45 and autographed it of some band named The Moving Sidewalks......And if your wondering about the 45, it was lost in a flood that over took Houston after a hurricane hit back in the 90's. I am still sick about that.

Being from Texas and about the same age as the boys, I was naturally a big fan since the "Elevators" days. But I kinda had written off B.G. as a "celebrity" guy, not a real player.
But I too was front and center for the Petersen Deuce party and I gotta tell you - Billy kicked everybody's ass on that stage. Just straight ahead blues tunes and strong solid vocals too. I do wish the band would do a simple blues CD without all the electronic tricks - it would rock.
Listen to an early version of "Tube Steak Boggie" for some amazing guitar work.

It's a Sony Cyber-shot DSCN2 10.1 mega pixel. I absolutely love it. I tried to buy another one a couple of years for DOC. but they don't make this one any longer. Everything one the camera is done on the touch screen which is huge on the back.

Funny story about Saturday night, I wasn't sure if they allowed cameras inside cuz most of the time they don't but I usually take it in anyway. This Sony is small enought to "crotch" which of course I did :D

ALOT of people we wearing cheap sunglasses during that song.

    Me too sweetie, me too.;)

I guess i should stop listening to them in my garage so much and get out more.

Great guys ..saw them in a small venue like that down near Jackson Mississippi back in 82 i think..the year was foggy..and so was the place.
Got to B.S, with em after the show..as did almost everyone there
they just pulled up a seat and ordered drinks and kicked back after the show

My brother and I saw them a few years back in Puyallup at the fair. We were center stage and 5 rows back. Those boys were great! All three of them are very talented.

ZZ Top-one of my all time fav's. One of my first 8 tracks in my car in HS in the 70's was Fandango "ya got ta mellow down easy".
Saw them a few times. including way back in the 70's when they brought "Texas" with them; A Texas shaped stage, rattlesnakes, longhorn, etc. Always a good time seeing them jam!

I don't know if I'd recognize him in public without the sunglasses.
