Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by flt-blk, Sep 7, 2009.

  1. as a matter of fact this is all that is left. I didn't want to paly Frogger and try to find the rest of it in the rain at night on the freeway.

Glad it didn't take out my radiator before it rattled under the car.

    See what Karma will do!

Congrats on the proposal, couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Best of luck finding a pulley. I had 3 alternators on my truck this weekend. Out of town of course. Had 2 brand new BAD alternators, one worked for 20 miles, the other charged, but drained the battery overnite. Pulled one out of the dirt in my backyard and it is working.

Best of luck and congrats again!

  9. I did try the studebaker pulleys, no luck.

I'm back in business, 2 1/2 hrs. This place rocks

Thanks again to Rustrodder for hooking me up with the exact pulley I needed, out of a box of probably 7 pulleys.

ChromedRat also called back and gave me a plan B.

    You guys rule

    Jerry,
I'm putting the leftover piece of pulley next to the tip of your T5 from the swap in RHYNO's garage in Joplin a couple years ago. Sacrafices to the hot-rod gods.

Congrats on the girl, and yes this place rocks. the Hamb is better than AAA. I will never travel without my laptop and wireless card. it saved my ass and my rear wheel bearing in Springfield a few weeks ago.

  24. Were 2500 miles into this road trip so far, somewhere near Pittsburg headed to Philly, another 4hrs to go. Then 850mi home to Chicago

Everything is going fine now, except for my S2D motor strapped in the bed is leaking oil. :) :)

Thanks again to rustrodder for bailing me out.

  26. Hey there Tyler, CONGRATS on the engagement! Right on brother, all the best.

Glad you're back on the road, hope the rest of the trip is uneventful.

  27. Congrats on the engagement!

The HAMB rescue network has helped us out more than once.

It's reassuring to know you can post an S.O.S. and help will be at hand shortly. It can come in many forms, from simple encouragement to a full blown rescue. It's quite a deal.

Glad to hear you are rolling again. Drive carefully.

  28. ok, tyler and his bride to be have made it into pasafe and sound, he is about 25 mins from his pa residence

  29. Be thankful you didn't have to count on UPS.
    Congrats on the engagement.
