longbed to shortbed?

Longbeds.

 

People only build old longbed trucks cause they cant afford a shortbed.

Then, try and look cool when people bring up the long/shortbed subject by saying.... "Longbeds Rule!!!"....You know, kinda like the whole 2 Vs 4 door thing.

If you have a old 4 door shortbed 1/2 ton truck?....now that's cool.

 

I agree... but a longbox step-side is a cool thing...

 

i actually prefer a long bed in the 60-66 body style.

 

Short bed is the only way... C-15 is the current Chevy 1/2 ton designation. They started it back in 1988.

 

Shortbeds haul ass, longbeds haul grass....hay, lumber, tools etc.

In a long bed she won't be bumping her head so much...

 

There have been a lot of posts about cutting down long bed trucks to turn them into short beds over the years, but not a single one about converting a short bed into a long bed...

Just food for thought...

 

Long beds fit more stuff but, without question, short beds look the best.

 

I made mine a medium bed just a hair over 7ft.



the wheel is exactly half way between the front and back of the bed

 

depends...two wheel drives (lowered) look cool short bed. Lifted 4x4's look sweet long bed. I dig either or. Mostly depends on application.

 

Shortbeds. Longbeds are, well, wrongbeds.

And 4-door sedans? They're called crew cabs round here!
