Wow Larry, SURELY I have the numbers all wrong here! Someone said to click on your username to find out your member #, mine 34675. The last guy to post on the intro page is 393,591 and there are ONLY 1900 Alliance Members. If thats correct, I hope Ryan doesn't mind me quoting him,

Fifty bucks doesn’t get ya much these days. A set of over engineered Bosch plugs? An air cleaner with cheap chinese chrome? Maybe a single hub cap to mismatch your other three? Save your dough and spend your fifty bones with us. It will get ya much more on your dollar. Plus, you get to roll around knowing you are supporting a joint that works hard to spread the gospel of traditional hot rods and kustoms.

I lurked here for a long time, but before doing my intro and starting to post I sent my 50 bucks. I have learned so much and enjoyed what I read and see so much I had to send my support. Aways heard if you love something you support it. Just hard to believe only 1,899 feel the same as those who have posted on this thead. I know that some out there may truely not be able right now to join the Alliance, and their post are some that I enjoy and their way of contributing. My THANKS go out to each and every person who support Ryan and the HAMB, by posting or supporting the Alliance.....I LOVE IT!!!

 

Ah, but how many signed on, posted once or twice (think classifieds), and never came back? That number adds up quick. But, I never would've thought only 1900 paid.

I've been an Alliance member for the last couple of years because I think that it's only right to support the "place" that I get so much from. I don't have much to teach but a lot to learn so I read a lot, post a bit and send in the foldin'.

 

I let mine go after two years because i didn't make it to Round Up this where i usually renew..gotta get busy and renew mine cause hopefully i willbe hitting vendors for parts for my 30 soon. Well worth the money spent ..even if you don't get it back by vendor savings

 

Only about 1900 alliance members? WTF? You got to be kidding me. What the fuck is wrong with people? Don't you guys know a hell of a bargain when you see one? It's only $50/yr. Lay off the third dog at lunch for a couple of weeks if you need to. Get with the program.

 

Man, $50 bucks a year? For that sort of money Id want an awful lot in return......
