Motion Pictures BilletProof NW 2009 + Cruise Super8

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by murder_city_devil, Aug 29, 2009.

  1. well it finally got put together...i still think youtube messed up a lot of the work that went into editing this, and makes it look even more grainy than the super 8 film already is, oh well!

hope you guys like seeing some of your stuff on old film...my idea has always been to try to capture the feel of these old cars with old film.

...what are you waiting for?!

Awesome. I'd love to get an old Super 8 camera to play with.

  10. SWEET SHOTS! Lots of Emperor cars!!

  11. i use a few of em. most of what you see is shot on a French made camera called a Beaulieu 4008 and an Argus...i also just picked up a Cannon i really love. The film is Ektachrome 64t and you get 3 minutes per cartridge and that's 50 feet...crazy stuff.

the thing that was lame about shooting the cruise was trying not to get modern cars in any of the shots, as you can see a few snuck in.

the best is at 3:36 there's a dog riding in the back seat of a impala...priceless!
