Man I can't wait. This show is going to be the koolest show. I remember going to all the shows as a kid in the 80's. My folks where members of the FLATLANDERS club out of McPherson. Me and some of my buddies have been thinking of starting this club back up in the new age. That riv that Titus built was on a used car lot in Salina about 3-4 years ago. Sam Brittindale had it maybe he knows were its at today. It was on his lot.

If I would have seen that sitting on a car lot I would have locked
them up. I'm not in a postion to buy it, but It would make a kool
ride for my daughter...She is almost 16.

I'm working on a post with more details about the Starliner.

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

When our daughter was eight (she's 32 now), we all went to our first Last Run show down in Ark City. At 4:00, we all stationed ourselves at the corner across from the Ag Building to watch the cars leave (after awhile we headed downtown for the cruise later that night). A bright red 57 Chevy pulled up to the corner, at the young age she was Katie swooned then turned to her Dad and said "Dad! There is what you can get me for my 16th birthday!!!!!". To this day she still swoons at any 57 Chevy!!

Here are my pictures of Exota that I took a few years (20 plus) ago at
the Starbird show in Tulsa. I had a 55 and I thought that it would be kool
to have something this wild on the road. maybe some day...

Do you remember when Lee Pratt drove his Buick to Wichtia? Love the paint job.

Other pics were from Ark City I think the same year. The pick up was built by Carl Green.

Damnit!! Now I have to get the Bel Air running. Nothing special just an 99% original, 4 door car. Still has the plastic from the factory on the seats and door panels.

This is Chris with Chaotic Customs in Mulvane. You can check our our shop during the garage krawl. http://chaoticustoms.com

Just wanted to let everyone know that Exota is in our shop. She is getting an updated look and will be back on the show circuit this year. Work is in progress, we should have color sprayed by the krawl. You can also check out our other projects in the works - 1949 Merc, chopped, hardtopped, lots of kool kustom work will debut at the Last Run in Ark City, 1957 Chevy convertible, 1932 Ford Roadster, just to name a few.

    Come check us out!

Hey Chris welcome aboard....Hey HAMBers, Chris drives one bad kustom and it
sits right. Very kool ride. I plan on coming up sometime before the Starliner to
checkout everything... You will be a kool addition to the HAMB.

Exota is in our shop? You will not be able to get me out of your shop. Can't wait
to see what you guys are doing to her. The chopped and Hardtopped Merc was it at
the Starbird show in Wichita last winter? If so I was wondering who was building that
    bad boy.

Very kool Photo from your web site.

    See ya guys soon.

No this is a brand new, original build on the Merc. Just pulled her out of the booth before lunch.

Bring your camera...bet we can take pictures of you in Exota. Don't tell Ron.

Hey Jack, we need to add Flyin'Eye Kreations on our Garage Krawl stop this year. He
is bringing his 60's style Lincoln to Dewey this year. I love their taste in Kustoms.

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

how do you describe the build style from Wichita-You take the very mild build style of Kenny Hammons 58 Chevy and Doug Reed`s Olds to wild creatins of Starbird and the Titus Brothers. Just look at the different stages McPhail`s Chevy and the Lil Coffin went threw before they were finished. I bet you would of never guessed how they looked when finished. Just look at Hubs El Camino and his 60 Buick-Two totally different build styles, but two very coool rides. That`s what made cars from that area so neat, you never knew what was next. It always kept you thinking.Keep on buildin guys, keep on buildin.
