Here's my attempt. 4" chop, laying the back window down a bit lowered, wide whites tube grille, '54 buick headlights '53 chev wrap around bumper shortened the side trim, removed handles and badges.
This is my '57 ex-drag car project. It's for sale because I have too many project, but if it doesn't sell, it's getting a tube chassis/cage, a straight axle, 289/c4/9" and 'glass front clip.
ok here is my friends Anglia more prostreet, but it is customized chopped frenched lights he built it when he was 13-14 years old.
Tub it slam it and make a roadster out of it. No glass for doors that way or quarter windows and chop the wind sheild a nd for god sakes put 15 on that car.A nice motor with hillborn injectors sticking out the hood also would be cool. Updating to quad headlights in the front wood be cool also and rework the grille .
sounds like a mixmatched abortion. The Anglia is just too small to be a custom, it's out of proportion, and there's nothing you can do about it. Even if you chopped, slammed, shaved, nosed, decked, whitewalled, peaked, smoothed, and every other modification a typical "kustom" has...it still won't look right. If you want a custom, find something else. If you want a gasser or drag car, the Anglia would be a perfect candidate.
IM very sure theres another thread here with lots of pic's that may also be of some help. Heres my one I did when I was a young fella. Also some one said 105E ,got a few of those still................ The Red one is one my bro built c/w Ford V6.........
I dig the flared fenders in the pics above. Makes for a cool touring/track car. Check out www.ford100E.com
How about a set of '49 Olds lights? The ones with the vents/louvers underneath...Those would look cool.
found a rear shot . The tail lights are Pommy Vaxule Victor, normally run in the horizontal position....
I kind of agree about all the typical kustom touches. I was thinking along the lines of a roth/starbird/european sportscar/showcar inspired custom. The gasser version looks cool too! heres a bubbletop version, sectioned with chrome bullet/door pull grill, and 57 lincoln hubcabs. I think something like this could be really cool, but that car is pretty nice to chop it up!
TexasHardcore got it. Those things are TINY, way too small to go custom in the traditional sense. Chop or section it and there's nothing left. Sure do it in photoshop but only a 1/2 scale person would fit in it. The picture needs something of a known size next to it to give you guys a sense of scale.
