I am all for the first pic too.

  2. They look good.

  3. I like the new wheels, and I like the old hubcaps. But I think either way, ditching the skirts is the best thing he did with it.

    Those are very cool cars!

Can't go wrong with a two-door '57 anything! The five-spoke aluminum wheels gives it a "racy" look, I think it's fantastic.

I like it! My mom had a 57 2dr. that was black & cream! Had a "pull-out" radio, I think!
I actually like it both ways....mags maybe better!

I love these cars. As stock as it is, I prefer the original wheels/caps. When I was in high school, my dad was scheduled for a new Olds in '57. He decided to wait a year because he heard the '58's were going to be really HOT:D. Well, even though my older brother and I talked him into a J-2, we ended up with a PURPLE '58 Super 88 4 door sedan. How could they screw up that beautiful body with all th "gee-gaw" chrome is beyond me (dad actually liked it better). Oh well, it could still beat the next door rich kid's '58 Chieftan 2 door hardtop with the 2 barrel 347. If the old man knew how bad we beat that car, he would have beat us.

Gotta say for something so nice and so custom out of the factory wide whites with some lowering would be killer for that ride.Wide whites all the way.

  12. Love it! That back window treatment is just too cool and the dash/steering wheel is beautiful. Then again, anything Olds does it for me. Just saw the pix of Ted Kennedy's underwater car and it looked to be a '69 88. Bet it had a 455. What a waste....
