HAMB DRAG Roadster?

Well, I posted this in the HAMB Message Board and probably should have posted it here. What I need to know is if this car could run in the competion roadster class at the HAMB DRAGS. I went to the the event the last two years and thought about bring this car this year. What yall think?

Well, years ago it had a set of 15" American 12 spoke for the front and I sold them. Now I'm looking for another set. I has Anglia spindles...know where I can get some?

Hey Jeff/21, the car has a 350 sbc and the rear tires are 15 X 14 X 32. On a good day it runs mid 9's. It's just a fun car to play with and not really competitive in any sanctioned events.

 

Yea Rusty, the boss man said to bring it on so we gonna be there this year with the car!

A-bone, I have had that 40 Ford for 41 years. I finished it in 1968 and have put over 100,000 miles on it. I just built a new engine for it and haven't install it yet. It now is running a 364 Nailhead with 6 deuces and a muncie M22 with 9" rear end. The new engine is a 401 Nailhead. Hope to get it installed after coming back from Mo-Kan. Maybe I can bring it to the HAMB DRAGS in 2010.

 

No other pic that I can post at present but will try to get some in to ya soon. I ain't no computer guru. If it smells like oil and gas and makes a lot of noise I can dig it. Got any pics of yours?

Me? No, I don't own anything Pro Street...I just have Hot Rods.

I haven't done much lately been very busy finishing up customer projects. Monday I'll be working on my stuff. It's a street body from Speedway because I didn't want an extended cowl so here it is

Mine is a little longer at 122".

 

My uncle has a 32 Bantam he is bringing similar to the car that started this thread. It has an injected BBC that should run mid 8's, if he has the cojones to run it out the back. He has run it at MoKan on the 1/8th and run 5.58 leaving at a dead idle foot braking it.
