Cheers Steve. The truck ran like a trooper all weekend, that motor is so sweet! kept the speed to 55-60 as I didn't want to work it too hard. The only problem I had was the diff oil leaking through the torque tube into the box. Had to drain it from the trans to put it back in the rear end a couple of times. I know you fitted a baffle but looks like it might not be enough. Will need to investigate at the end of the season. We had an absolute blast! First year at the Hayride and will definately be back for more. A superb event and a credit to all the organisers and helpers. It wasn't that cold. I managed to get a decent T-shirt tan! Will post my pics at some point.
Any more photos of the 5W on the dirt track? Also one of your shots looking down the road there is a 55 Olds headed in, looks like it has a tube grille, any more on that? Thanks what what you've posted I always look forward to photos from the hayride. Got to ask though, what was the 'cuff-o-meter' set at this year? looks to be about 4"
Great pics to a blindin event looks like a few mates went there. Flatoz you'll be confusing the Poms if you call them "cuffs" they're turn ups back home, Cuffs are what's on the sleeve of your shirt.

bbb. You do nice work...good that you've got great subject matter to work with as well! I love the way these guys (and gals) aren't afraid to give their cars a bit of stick round the dirt track! Yet another one of the many shows I'd like to attend! Thanks for sharing.
Look at those prats, five-up in the old stocker - oh it's me!!! UKGav - I kept to 55-65 most of the time too...
