    That should cover it

There's a whole lot of reasons this is happening:

    1. It's my birthday (no big deal these days)
    2. The Chopped Show at Newstead is 2 weeks after (you need a shakedown run)
    3. My car is done (well not really, but it runs and I can drive it)

What more do you need to convince you to get the rod or custom out of the shed.

I'm going to be 43 on Sept 18 so on Saturday Sept 19 I'm inviting you all to come and see how I've spent the last 4 1/2 of those years.

So all HAMBers are welcome to come up the Hume a short distance and help me drink some beer, eat a snag or 2 off the barbie and listen to the sweet, sweet sound of an uncorked nailhead in the countryside.

When: Saturday 19th September from 2pm till you leave
Where: 52 Burgess Rd Kilmore Vic
Bring: Your Rod or Custom and a beer or 2.

P.M. me if you are coming so I can buy enough snags.

    Pete

Provided nothing's on I can't get out of, I should be there.

Woohoo. I got one. It'll be huge Brett! You and me sucking back beers and tearin' up the neighbourhood. I wonder if anyone else will show.

Actually I have a half a dozen or so rods and their occupants confirmed so far.

(Wish I was spending the day at Harveys like Mark)

Striper your making it hard, the 33-34 day I have to go to, CHOPPED I'm down for, can I get another pass to get to this!?! Might have to beg. House reno's make it hard. If I don't make it, have a super time. You deserve a party after finally getting the RPU done.

It would be great to see you Corey but I absolutely know about life getting in the way of stuff you want to do. No sweat. I'll see you at Newstead if not before.

    Pete

Oh yeah, when is the 33 - 34 day?

    Hey Striper,
Does this invite extend to all HAMB members (including FNG's) or is it more for the veterans?
Congrats on finishing the modified, great to see it come to life.

  26. Looks like some nice work. Rod end bearinng for the split bones? Mmm, don't think that'll fly. Same with the shackle mount through the bones. I'm not saying no good, I just hope you've had an engineer or whoever to OK some of that stuff because I'd hate for it to end in tears.

p.s. you don't say where you are so it's hard to talk rego rules, bu I'd say the issues I've raised are pretty universal.

That fuel tank looks familiar. You've got got it on backwards though ;)

Looks like nicer work than mine I have to admit.

You don't want to see me up close Frank. Not that flash.

Hmmm, veteran eh. I think I did say I'll be 43. Since when did that put me in the veteran class?

You might as well come along Muppet. You'll probably know someone.

  28. Hey Charger- Ain't that lil' run to Melrose on the same weekend as Chopped's ?

  29. Bttt for Pete.

I'm a definite and looks like 63compact is too. We'll work on Cragar next!!

Was out in the roadster with Jase and his Dad today. 3 roadsters and some back roads on a Sunday arvo mid winters sunshine, doesn't get much better than that.
