Sweet - I always wondered if a piston driven, hydrogen car was possible.

I'm sure Joanne will have a line on some pre-entries for sale at the BNI/SCTA registration trailer. Jesse, you should load up and come to b'ville. The early salt reports are that the salt is the best in years, hard and fast with mild temps forcast for HP.

    Total Publicity Stunt..........

Yeah man, total. Serve em some 'haterade' and keep goin. Joke em if they can't take a fuck. I won't bother blowin smoke up yer ass, but I'm really glad Kurt Urban was involved. It's hard to say who else could've made this happen and Kurt's always been "out there" in a manner of speakin. You should ask him about some the early exploits on the late night streets of Motown. Legendary...

Good for you Jesse! It's too bad "jealous bitch-vision" gets turned on anytime someone like you (a celebrity) gets involved in anything cool. All ya hear is "publicity stunt", "real records", "my pussy hurts", I'm cramping". You are allowed to enjoy yourself AND (OMG:eek:) make some money to boot! Anybody who has ever been around ya knows you are a true gear head, so have at it!

    Jesse,

The #777 in the pic looks to have a shorter W/B compared to it's current configuration. Is this correct?

FWIW is not just a song title, it describes f'n Hollyweird to a T. I read all the drama about JJ and I wonder which one of the player haters wouldn't give his left nut to have a job where you get paid to fire machine guns in order to get ready for a race. JJ gets paid doing absurd shit, like drifting while some voice-over talks about his impending doom via hangnail. He's laughing all the way to the bank in a hemi powered 9 second armored car. Why wouldn't he? I know I would. Stop taking this shit so seriously.

BTW, I know for a fact that JJ could break into 205mph if that car ran on my farts.

And nobody seems to doubt that James did indeed reach that speed in the 1960s-era Dees Milodon Engineering – Davis B 777 streamliner, which James (under the guidance of land-speed racer Mike Cook) bought, lengthened, updated and fitted with a twin-turbo 780hp 572-cu.in. big-block Chevrolet V-8, converted to suck down 5,000 PSI of hydrogen.

Im sorry but the guy is a flog bag. Takes two real survivor cars and cuts them up, THEN claims a false Record?? WTF??
Go check out the Landracing forum to see just what its all about.

    Doc.

  25. LSR folks should be ecstatic for the coverage from a show like Jesse's.

Every one seems interested because it's a pretty neat project. Been doing this a long time and would't have a clue how to use hydrogen, so kudos to someone who did it. Also looks like they did some nice fab on the canopy, and the rest of it too, also better than alot of us actually find ourselves doing in real life. (meaning not on the computer.) Look foward to seeing it run again.

Ya know all of you that are BITCH'N about what JJ does or doesnt do only wish you could have the opportunity to be as talented and do the shit that he has done!! C'mon...the guy is a true craftsman and you are just plain jeolous!!! you are the same guys who have never done anything yourself!!

  29. I like the show, the last couple of episodes feel less scripted and it's hard to predict stuff, though that Camaro on the gas episode felt pretty staged. :)
