Actually it is just the body. A NOS 1958 Fiberglass body by Robel (same guys that made the mini Divco trucks).

I have an original frame and a broken up original body that is the vacuum formed styrene plastic they tried making them with first. This body came out after the plastic bodies started breaking up and falling apart.

Since I am 6'6" and over 350 I don't fit in it so well but I fit. I will have to drive it like this guy did in 58

The original frame still has the 2HP flathead 6B Briggs motor and I have all of the extra trim pieces to use for molds to make replacement parts. So I am well on my way to getting this car on the road?

I know this is not your standard Hamb car but a lot of others on this site enjoy these oddities?

Hell yeah, that thing is going to be killer! I need to find one of those and terrorize the neighborhood. I'm 5'4" and 125lbs, so I should be a good fit:)

I might be selling my 1961 thunderbird junior to make more room
You can get one to match your full size and crash it all you want?

Here is the body after I got it painted. I am working on converting the frame to gas from electric

It took me 20 years to find my plastic bodied version and I just found this one. they have not been made since 1958, sorry you can not just run out and buy one. So there is no contact info for the company that made them.
Have you been to my website www.jrcentral.com and read up on them yet?

did anyone else think that first picture looked like something out of Ed Roth's mind?
    cool little car anyhow.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

Speaking of the Robel Divco, here is mine on the way home years ago. It took me 30 years to find one after seeing it on a children's morning cartoon show as a pre-school kid. Twenty years later its still on the list to get a proper restoration.
