History Swanx Vallejo

Just recieved this from an orignal member of the Rod and Wheelers member who won a trophy in 1958 from the Swanx car club.

 

that's pretty rad! always cool to find some history floating around.

Check my avatar. That was a Vallejo car in 1958 (Red Lund) before it went to Napa and still there.

Gomes that is so radical! Would be killer to get a few of the ol'guys to one your bbqs and get em to tell some stories eh!

About 15 years ago we re-surrected a 50s hot rod club from our area too and have met a couple of the original members. We even got an original jacket.
Knowing some history in a club rules!

Nice trophy, would it be for sale? We have had the SWANX Vallejo chapter up and running since 1998 and that trophy would be a nice addition to our club history. We will be attending an Oakland Swanx chapter reunion next weekend (our parent chapter) and this would be a nice piece to to bring along for show and tell. Please let me know.
