A guy at work's son is building a 46 Ford convert. This is the full tilt flattie that's going under the hood. Not quite traditional but who cares. He's lives down there in the Lone star state.
Ummmmmm.... Flathead...Check Early S.co.T type blower...Check Two pot intake....check What's not traditional about that? The onyl thing that I can see really in the dizzy cap & pullys. Looks awesome!!!
Be a shame to hid that one under the hood. Once in and running he may change his mind-Really a good looking motor
those are Holley 94's. I just got that engine in the box. It is shipping out tomorrow from H&H Flatheads
very cool. the best looking flatheads are always blown! heres another example. stolen off a thread a while back.
Can I have that? My daily driver just bustaed a brakeline and I was thinking.....blown flathead would make this all better.
SBC..blah blah blah..sbc is more reliable..blah blah blah....SBC could never look that good....ever..amazing engine!
Just curious what that cost, I saw a mag cover awhile back that showed a blown flathead for $5995 although i didn't buy the mag I can't see from my limited research so far how you can build a motor like that for 6k. I'm sure I'm missing alot and I am here to learn
I gotta say I almost threw up on my desk when I saw that fricken motor!!! My dad is having our flathead rebuilt as we speak...and when it's done, it ain't gonna look NOTHIN likeTHAT!!! lol... "now THAT'S a MOTOR"!!!
