Texas HAMBrs Will i be legal if ????

I am about to mount the headlight buckets on the front of my 39 Ford PU. I am going to use the lamps that have the blinkers built in the lamp.Therefore my question would be if i will still be required to run parking/driving lights at the lower of the fenders to be legal or not

 

Depends of the year of the car and how your register it. Very early vehicles did not have parking lightd and don't require them now if you register it right. My 2cents anyway

Moot point with antique plates. They don't go through the inspection process.

In '95 I built up an o.t. car (vw) and used the parking light in front of the headlamp as the front blinker. Just put in the amber bulbs, and took it for inspection, never said a word about it. Looked good too, cleaned off the top of the fender.

You'll be fine. Get YOM plates instead of the state issued "Antique" Plates.
