It really looks like you didnt do anything to it at all. Its so smooth and natural you'd think it was stock. Thats the best kind of customizing in my opinion. The stuff that someone who doesn't know any better would think was original. The lights look like they were born there. SUPERB Job! Love the color by the way.

  2. Since I've been playing with a 55 Special of recent times, I gotta take my hat off to you, looking sweet, especially love the rear tail light mod, top stuff.

My only 2c, why did you keep the factory hubcaps?

    Cheers,

    Very, very nice.

I think the stock caps look great . My 55 was a factory black and seeing this make me want to strip it and give it a jam job.

Thats a fine Buick, they make for nice cruisers, or in this case for a very elegant custom.

Congrats on a fab build, I am so impressed with the teamwork on this ride. I love all the touches you did that seperates this one from the usual ones. Those taillights are so super sweet and I don't remember seeing frenched headlights looking that cool for a long time. The color combo is so rich and attractiive, and the dye work is so smart. Exceptional build by a very hip team!! ~Sololobo~

I think it turned out fantastic!

It rides really nice and runs good too...in fact the whole thing came out really well. You two did a great job on it, and should be proud.

Kept the caps thinking I'd go with a theme...put a bullet in the front grill bar instead of the original emblem, and I'd put bullets in the original caps center reflector. Can always pull em off to get that dragstrip effect:D

it's a mid 70's Buick Regal with 273 gears. Since we used the 455/turbo 400 combo we thought this ratio would work well ( except when she takes it to the nostalgia drags in Temple)

I disagree on changing the grille. The '55 has almost everything done right from the factory.

I understand where you are coming from and we thought about what type grill we wanted....tube grille? 57 Corvette grille? and several others and decided to use what the car came with and add a chrome bullet to the center bar. Looks ok to my wife and that's the only person I had to satisfy.

Thanks, I guess after 37 years my wife has decided to keep me:D. She is talented too....where do you think Brian (Bass on the HAMB) got all his artistic ability? I can barely write my name where I can read it, so I am pretty sure he didn't get it from me!
