Fellow HAMBer BJE31 and his 47 Studie truck captured 1st place while the 49 Ford Woody got Best In Show

no problem... i heard some talk yesterday that they may make this show into any overnight deal, similar to the jalopy showdown. anyone else here any rumors of sort yesterday?

The owner of the Woodie spoke with the Pres of the St Lordz and he was told the club is hoping to make this a 2 day event with overnight camping. Keep your fingers crossed.

 

i hope they carry this out... i think it could end up being a really nice event

 

That'd be so cool?! There's enough property there to set a tent and as nice as everybody was it'd be an awesome deal!

Hey Ryan ! Thanks for the welcome ! Yeah it was a great show - in spite of mother nature's threats ! I am looking forward to next year. By the way, my car was the stock (and work in progress) 1953 Buick Super (rasperry pink).

 

Great show...my buddy and I made the hour and a half drive last year at the last minute and got there late... promised ourselves we'd not miss it this year. Glad we went! Great bunch of folks, and a really cool/laid back show. 4 cool rockabilly bands, hot rods, customs, pinup girls... really a great time and a nice roadster ride through the rolling hills of PA. See ya'll next year! -JB
