I take no responsibility for the quality of the cars, well except for two of them... view at your own discretion.

Great pics, Zman... the Rod-O-Rama rides were definitely my two favorite there. I don't know why Rush is so obsessed with the rear-view alien though. LOL See you at the Hot Rod Hoopla next Saturday.

I saw this one headed North on a
ROLLBACK ... :( Friday afternoon on I-77 about Great Falls SC ... It must have been on the way to the event.

    I was headed South ...

Most likely ... way too uncomfortable to drive anywhere ...

Flamed hood sides, yeah sure. ;)

There were a decent number of cool cars especially for this show. I think it was their best one yet. But there were 15 RR trucks and I suspect 15 trailers within the downtown area.

I watched more than a few leave on trailers....

Good meeting you... Can't wait to see your pics.

Thanx for the pix, some rare stuff at this one, the Kaiser sedan looked like a dandy. I enjoy them all and place no judgement on individual builds, sure makes it easier. T.C. from Spokane, I dig that fat fender Ford also, very cool. Looks like a hip area for the event. Keep on keepen on!! ~Sololobo~

I tried to take a pic of every car regardless of quality. There are some winners and some "real winners", but all in all it was pretty balanced as to having a little bit of everything. There were some cool traditional cars as well as RR's. Some customs and some 80's rides. And a few street rods that have been painted flat black to make them cool...

Someone over on the Loserville website posted a nice (in-focus-and-bright-for-a-change-my-pictures-always-suck) shot of the '51.

I know for a fact there were 4 'Rat Rods' there that have a combined total of over 40,000 miles on them, driven as you saw them at the show. A couple of them regularly do 750 mile round trips to Kentucky and elsewhere. As a matter of fact, they were at this year's Dillehay St. Hullabaloo. Yes some trailer them, but they are missing out on 95% of the fun of going to shows. IMO, If it's not safe or reasonably comfortable to drive the builder has wasted his time.

This is the first HRW that I have missed and I hate myself for it. It's been a blast every year and there are some great cars to see, but more importantly I've made some great friends there. Great people, great bands and some of the best southern soul food at the Kopper Kitchen just up the street.

I'll be damned if I miss it next year.

  28. That's a great looking car.
