I love magnesium too. The only thing that sucks is that when I get my hands on magnesium, its in the form of transfer cases.

My pantera had magnesium wheels had to put grease on the lug nuts keep the corrosion down other than that they were very nice and light wheels.

You do know the America spells Aluminiun wrong because of a typo many years ago?

Kinda like the SR-71 was only called that because of a presidential screw up, it was to be the RS-71 but when he publicly announced its existence the prez got it wrong. Cost the US government many hundreds of thousands to change everything from RS to SR (Documents, plans, castings etc).

I LOVE magnesium. A metal that burns at a lower temperature than it melts is ALWAYS good fun!!

  15. Well down under here in NZ we say:

    MAGNESIUM
    &
    ALUMINIUM

I like real Mags too. I had to shell out $ 500 for this set of 4. The seller said they were aluminum. I never corrected him, just gladly paid the man, and left as soon as I could.

  22. I like and appreciate spelling corrections.

Especially when the responder gets it wrong.

NICE! Looks like you've got some more work to do. By the time you finish polishing the last one, you'll need to start over again! I hate magnesium!!

    Here's mine..

Man, if they were cheap, EVERYBODY would have them and they wouldn't be as cool anymore. A grey primered hot rod can roll into a car show and if it happens to have real magnsium Americans or Halibrands, than it's a cool car. The opposite is also true, you can roll into the same show with a $12,000 paint job and a set of chrome Modulars and your car will draw little interest. Simply said......WHEELS MAKE THE CAR!
