Tuck is on the road to KC right now and we were set to leave for Austin this morning.

But last night I found one of the wheel bearings on the trailer we are using needs to be replaced. Just hoping someone can help me cross reference an application for this bearing so I can hit the parts stores this morning with as little hassle as possible.

    KOYO - LM29749

All of my searching search shows plenty of online resources for the bearing itself but no application.

    Kevin,

looks like that is a Timken, NSK good number too. I coundnt find an OEM cross ref # to it.

    the dimension size should be "d' 38.1 (which seems to a 1 1/2" spindle) "D" 65.088 & "B" 19.8

NAPA web sites goes up 1 1/4" spindle trailer bearing. i bet the store would have one.

    good luck.

A good partsman will just look to see if the number is in stock or availible real fast. The trade # of the brg should be all you need.

    Kevin,

Wheel bearing for a Mitsubishi. Timkin, so should be an easy find.

TIMKEN LM29749/LM29710 Imperial Taper Roller Bearing Cup and Cone Set 1.5000x2.5625x0.7100 inch

Check this out, as it has a couple of cross-reference #'s

LM29749 is the only part of the number you need.

If you go to Pep boys or NAPA they should have it. They both carry SKF brand and it has wide coverage.

The number you have is a Timkin tapered roller bearing number and is a very common trailer number.

If neither of them have it tractor supply should. You may have to buy a "kit" at any one of the above locations it would include the bearing, a race and the outer seal?

A decent parts store should be able to help you with just the number. Application for "a trailer" just boggles their minds. You need help just call, I'm in town.
