All right, I can't believe I haven't posted on here before, but I'm in. I'll join yer club if ye'll have me.

Here's my '49 Club Coupe out in the alley 6/30/09 on the way to have some work done.

(And yes, I really appreciated the Auto Club wussing out on towing me; and all the vatos asking me if that was my bomb. Yes. Yes, it is.)

I'm using a kit by Davis Rods in Bloomington, IN.

He sells you the brackets & mounting hardware & provides a list of parts for you to buy & instructions on installing everything.

A big plus for me, other than being close, was that you run your stock master cylinder & can run your stock wheels.

I think I ended up with about $350 in it.

If you're interested I can put you in touch.

I'm using the ECI kit, I bought just the brackets to use with the chevy rotors. The product is good, the instructions suck ass, however I got through that and have all the "correct" part you would need.PM me if you decide to go with that setup, I can give you the correct year parts. The parts from ECI were around $175. I think I saved around $80 by not buying the full kit after all is said and done.I also had "core" calipers to turn in to make those cheaper when getting them at the parts store.

Here are mine, just sold the chopped one. The red one was my high school car that i sold, it went to the west coast then came back when a buddy of mine bought it while he was out there and brought it back to Missouri. I just bought it back from him, this is the REAL Christine! Heres a pic of her at greaserama, gonna try and have her at HAMB this year after another motor swap, which will be a huge surprise to find out whats under the hood. I also have the other type of shoebox too (57 chev) so do I technically have 3?
