Bought it in 1960. I've put on 468,000 miles. Four 4-bangers, a flathead and five Chevies. This was tonight, I lost all my other pics since 1960 in the flood last year because I never got around to scanning them. Bye.

  2. Bought my '48 Plymouth in '84. Was on the road stock for a year. Hot Flat head for 12 years and V8 after that. AV8ford helped me paint the flames in the garage for its first event finished '86. Still has most of the Earl Schiebe black paint from the original owner in '72.

Starting to redo the interior as it's drying out. Wife wondered why I was buying a new headliner. Then I reminded her I put the last one in in '85.

I had grey hair when I bought it and it's still grey now.

Almost, my pick up in my avatar I got when I was 14 (it was a total basketcase). 24 years ago. Still running strong.

My '56 pickup was my grandfathers. He gave it to me in 1986. Technically mine for only 23 years, but in the family for well over 30...

I haven't owned it. But my brother bought it in 1969 for $700.00 at an auction. So it has been in our family since then. 40 years...ghost

I have owned my 34 Ford pickup since the 70s. HRT

  8. I have owned my Roadster since 1974

  9. I've had my '53 Mopar since 1982, bought from the estate of the original owner. So, I'm only the 2nd owner of this car. Hard to part with a car that's a '53 and you're the second owner!

  10. Only one I have managed to hang on to is my 65 Ford pickup and I've had it for 37 years. HRP

LOVE that headliner. Any chance of some closer pics? Is it just the chrome headliner bows from a hardtop painted?

And I'm not a "grey beard" ... yet..... but I'm gettin' there. I've had my 55 since 1986 I believe. It was my first car at 16 (nevermind the mullet).

Probably had 20 other cars but never let go of this one. Still only has 89000 miles on it, had 55000 miles when we got it.
