    Ok - here goes FRIDAY NIGHT - Goodguys DesMoines Weekend !!!!!!!!!!!

    I have decided to have grilled pork chops / cold liquids ( keg) / playing some good tunes on the back Patio -

    Cornfed had a HAMB feed last year but won't be able to this year.

    I live on the North side of DesMoines about 10-12 miles or so from the fairgrounds. ( suburb- Johnston)

    Directions from the fairgrounds to my place... ( PRINT THIS SO YOU HAVE IT )

    Turn west out of the fairgrounds on University and go about 2 miles until you get to I-235.
    Take I-235 east bound and go about 3 or 4 miles until you get to the I-80 / I-35 Interchange.
    Take the I-80 west / I-35 South exit.
    Go about 5 or 6 miles on I-80W/ I-35S and get off at exit 131 Merle Hay Road Exit.
    Take right ( north) and go 2 miles - to the light which is Northglenn Drive.
    ( Kum and Go store right there).
    Take a right and go for a little bit to slight left curve that becomes ( Northglenn Way)
    and I am the 3rd house on left ( 6800 Northglenn Way - Blue two story - 3 car garage)
    Will have balloon tied to mailbox and the My Stude - Hawk in the Driveway or front yard.

    All HAMB'rs ( young /old ) are invited to my place to sit / relax shoot the shit on my back patio /eat and beer and have a good time. I'll have a keg ( but when it's gone - you do beer run around the corner).

    BRING YOUR FOLDING CHAIR

    ** Even if it rains Friday night come over and eat / drink - my back patio is a large open air outside patio with a roof over it / trees /landcaped etc..

    Cornfed said he had about 35 last year but up to you guys - lets ALL get together and enjoy the 4th eh !

    FRIDAY NIGHT MY PLACE...
    NOTHING IS HAPPENING AT THE FAIRGROUNDS on Friday night so let me know if you are comming to my place so I can get food ordered.
    WILL HAVE THE GRILL GOING ABOUT 6 OR SO

    Let me know ASAP.

    Wow, don't overwhelm Corny with your enthusiasm. Wis I were going as I would sure take advatange of a free meal and some "kool" company.

    Im a young rodder(23) but would be interested in attending, hanging out, and learning some shtuff. Friday night gets my vote bc the show gets done so early in the evening.

    Sounds like a BLAST and if it's anything like Cornfed's and Lori last year it will be. Unfortunantly I won't be making it to DesMoines this year. Just too much going on this summer. I'm going to miss seeing you guys.

    BTTT - Looks like Friday Night is choice so far.

    Keg is ordered .

    Food - making all the arrangements now

    I need anybody going to Goodguys DesMoines to let me know if you are comming so I know how many pork chops to order.

    Yea main meat is pork chops !

    I will have extra of burgers/dogs for back up if I run out of pork chops if need be.

    I would vote for Friday night as well - not sure if I will make it or not - my wife is having back surgery so I may or may not be at the Good Guys this year - I will have all my stuff for sale - Max Grundy & his wife will be at my table helping me out, but I am not sure about coming over there on Friday - if I am there - count me IN

    Friday Night is feed and meet at my place based on most votes.

    Come over after your meeting.

    I'm sure we will still be on the patio sitting / eating / drinking refreshments / listening to music until at least 9 or 10 PM or so.

    I wish I could make it back to Iowa to visit your party. I used to live in Marshalltown, then moved to Texas. thanks for all that you do for the hamb. It is a thankless job. Thanks again and have a good party.
