Only you can really judge that. Is it worth $1,500 to you? I personally think that is a pretty good deal for the body, frame and wheels. Obviously that means front and rear axles. Doens't sounds bad to me, especially if you cna ahndle the metal wotk on the roof. Good luck.

1-2 yrs ago during the crazy pricing yrs that would have been selling for $5k.

I agree with Roadsterpu.... if you can handle the work it's worth it.

  6. Looks like a good starting point to me. I would think its worth the money, especially if the floor and frame look nicely done etc.

If my Essex looked to be anywhere near that good of shape ... I'd snag it at that price.

if the frame and floor are built correctly then $1500.00 would be a good price

It doesn't look bad, I wish I had a project that looked like that.. I've got a crusty cowl, a frame, some wheels, and a locked up engine that even Kanter doesn't make parts for... Not that I don't have another choice for an engine, but I like it to much to toss it.

Could be a cornhusker frame. If it is then pay for the frame and the rest is free.

if it is the factory column, it had a cool tilt setup too,

My dad paid about a grand for the nice 27 2dr body/frame he had

and free for the 28 4 dr rust bucket

But then again we are cheap

BUY IT.. Figure labor at $70.00 an hour to get to where it is now... It is worth it.. The roof on that can be a bear... Check out my website and look at the chrysler to see how me molded the roof to take a roof insert. Jason.

If the frame is well built it is a very good price for a hot rod. Too much missing for a restrorod. What do you want? Looks like a great stater rod to me.Price? as long as you dont take food of the table doesnt matter.

I took 18" outta the back, a bunch outta the top, moved the wheel wells up, and built a double kick frame with Duce horns on my 29' Essex,

and got $14,500 out of it 5 years ago.

I LOVE these "What's it worth?" threads! If the asking price was 500 or 5K, somebody would post here asking the same question.
