http://www.hubgarage.com/mygarage/vehicles/33394 sorry, guess you've gotta have a log in at Hub to get there :(

some of the 100+ photos I took on Saturday. I've gotta say the primer Willys was awesome, totaaly enjoyed the video of it cruising the grounds. I never saw it move. At $99K it seems a little out of the average Jo range. There was a Willys p/u gasser that caught my attention for a while too.

The 38' Buick had a rap sheet on the window that said the engine was a "pump" engine, which maybe means a pumper type fire engine, as Seagraves built those. Did you notice the two very dinky carbs on that immense thing? If I had to characterize most of the cars I saw, it would be "overcarburated". I liked the "Indy" trackster with the rear end made from a severely narrowed 49' Ford.... Did you see the original 40' willys sitting up near the needle? It took real "Willys-power" not to turn it into a gasser.....

Did anyone see the 32 model B?!?!?!?! It's one thing to see a 32 full fendered with a flathead in it, but it is completely another to see a banger in one! I fell in love.

I'm still going through my photos to avoid posting duplicates, but here's one I haven't seen posted yet. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of the entire car.

hasn't been run flat out yet...just left the shop Thursday! I will give consideration to mounting a video camera for a pass down the strip...after I get comfy with the car's handling. It is a handful!

I stopped by the Willys on Sat morning and talked about the car and the Olds next to it. That Willys is nice. I was the guy with the pics of a 51 Pontiac gasser I am building.

This car also had a Seagrave, done really well and finished hours before the show by Bob Bendtsen who makes those one off tranny adapters for "alternative" engines. He is really the man to go to!

Third year there for myself. Always a great time. A little hot, but not bad. Stayed in a tent for the three days. Havn't heard the total for this year yet, but last year there were over 11,750 for the Sat. Took alot of pictures myself, and got a lot of tips from the guys that have cars like mine. I would have liked to see the blue pickup with the engine in the box drive in though. Did take a picture of another use for webbers though.. Al
