Be rolling Big Blue, soon as I get out in the garage and change the shocks/ fix the alignment. I put in 4 seatbelts yesterday, so I can (safely) take the wife and kids. We plan on leaving early Sat. morning and rolling down at a nice, leisurely pace. We might even link up with a few folks and convoy down, just for fun.

Leaving friday after work! going to sleep in the motorhome hope there is camp spots at the grounds? This will be the first tme sense 1961 that this car has made a cruse. I didnt get the list completed so burning the midnight oil until departure. thats half the fun, RIGHT?

 

I think we're meeting at the garage on Lake City Way in Seattle at around 5:30 AM Saturday and heading south.

 

getting close ! have to work Monday, then rest of the week off. City of T****A argh !, was going to try to get me carpet installed in my 62 on Saturday. That lid project is driving me nuts( round #2) 6" drop from my parking spot to the ground , black top should be done from what I hear Monday. Tuesday carpet and por 15 the trunk floor and install my trunk mats.

 

Kustom64. when you rolling into town. Looking for to saying hi and catching up on what you and the family has been up to.. Might have the wife drive her wagon down..

Looking at the forecast for the weekend...bring your light jackets for sure.

I use Yahoo for my weather here, it's the most accurate, albeit a little on the low side for their forecasting, meaning it's usually a few degrees warmer than what they call for. Temps in the 70's, with showers likely Saturday night and Sunday.

Humidity is mildly high, so for those of you who aren't familiar with our weather, the humidity makes it feel somewhat warmer than the forecasts

ok, carpet is in , trunk floor has been Por15'd ready for trunk mat. Trunk floor needs to dry a little more. less than a week !

a bunch of us are meeting at pro/max in spanaway at 7a.m. saturday mornin. we are taking the senic route down. everyone is welcome to join if you want!

 

The Prankster Big Band fires up at noon or so, the award winning cars will start gathering by the stage at 2pm, awards at 2:30 or so.

 

This is like the longest week ever!!!! I wish the weekend were here already!

Thanks, my search failed me again.

 

My Scottish ass got way burnt last year, 95 degrees here is hot.

Saturday is supposed to be mild, mix of clouds and sun.

 

Did anyone else pre-register but not get anything back? Last year I got passes a couple of weeks early... this year...nothing??? Hope they got me on the list at the gate!
