was just wondering about why a thread was closed? talking about the do you like your work thread, It seems a little bit off topic, but in these times, a little bit of positive about work seems like a good thing for everyone.

I wish we could close all the threads regarding american graffiti, who cares about seeing screen shots of it?

I have formed the opinion that yes some threads should be closed if they are far enough OFF TOPIC.
However some threads are worth while but get closed because we get losers squabbling like school kids and screw it up for all of us.
In these cases I believe the Thread should not be closed but the posting trouble makers should be LOCKED OUT for a couple of days to let them cool off.
Some potentially good Threads have been locked up due to this problem.
Have your say but say it nicely.

Why do threads asking why threads got closed get closed... it's a vicious cycle really.

Whew! I was wondering how it lasted as long as it did. However I posted on it and got to say my two cents worth so, so there!

Plenty of people, the thread has over 1600 views in 6 hours. If you dont like it dont look at it.

i can't believe this is still going, i know that thread is off topic but a thread with something positive to say about a job goes far in these terrible times we are in.

Well said, good tech post about customizing a rod with disk brakes gets closed yet air plane rides and turbo charged mussel cars stay.
Rules work when they are consistant.
Ryan indicated in Brian Rupnow's post to you about the report button,I plan on using it, unless I get banned of course...lol
