Event Coverage Stray Kat Kustoms / Ft. Scott,KS / June 27 & 28

Just wanted to update everybody about the show in Ft. Scott Kansas.



The show is June 27 & 28 and for the kats that come in town early we will have
a free feed at Lone Star machine shop at 6:00 pm. We're getting a good response
from guys that hadn't been there before so we're going to have a good turnout this
year.

Saturday night is gonna be killer. The Rumblejetts and Julie Majors will be playing in the
Liberty theater. The remodeled Liberty Theatre was built in the late 1800's. Through the
years it has seen a variety of uses and owners. The Liberty Theater has now truly come
into its own and has been crafted into an exceptional venue that is elegant, intimate and
relaxing. The setting we look just like the days that Johnny Cash and Elvis hit the stage.
Wouldn't have that been kool to experience those days.....

Trophies all day Saturday and Sunday morning blessing of the rides and more trophies.

Forgot to mention a couple of things. We will be having a cruize on Saturday night
right in front of the Liberty theater. Parking will be available just for us. The kool
thing is the concert Saturday night is free to all of the car participants.. Also a full
bar and dance floor.

So far so good,checked fluid yesterday,and all looked good.Now all I hafe to do is change out my oil pan,probably wait till the night before we leave

 

Those are pretty easy to change out, I would just wait until that morning.
You'll have plenty of time....Ha, ha, ha,... Did you get those pm'd pictures
that I sent ya.

Funny you would mention that, was driving the 50 yesterday, stopped for gas, oil pressure REAL low, check it its down 3 quarts, had to buy oil just to get home, friggin oil filter adapter is Chinese junk. Just another thing to fix before Saturday .

 

Boy she is still fight'n ya. Cars suck!! Good thing you have over a week to fix it.

Mick! How far is Ft Scott from Dewey? Might drive the Bird up or trailer the IH

 

It is a 2 1/2 hour drive. I go up 75 and hit Hwy 400 then its straight up from Pittsburg, Ks.
Its an easy drive. Be kool to see your rides again. I hadn't had time to work on my
Caddy caps yet. Renee got tired of looking at them on my desk, so I had to move them
to my man room. Thanks again....

I had fun telling the guys about the IH. You are going to move some people when they
see her.

if you havent been to ft scott before its a cool setting with all the shops along the brick roads for the ladies to go and most of the building are in great shape they had a fire there a fews years ago that took out a whole city block
