Here's the shots I took of the winners. I'm sure I left some of the cars out. I didn't mean to. Please let me know what's missing. I haven't slept much in the last three days. the batteries are running low. I'll fix what I missed in the morning. nice show Chop Top. Kudos to Boomer and his crew and all the clubs that made this such a great event. And special thanks to the two ladies on the Hood.

  7. Absolutely, the best Billetproof Michigan so far. Perfect weather,
huge turn out of cars and spectators, the largest swap meet,
and the largest number of Pinstripers and Artists yet.

EVERYONE that I talked too, said they really enjoyed the show,
and would definitely be back next year.

Many Thanks to all the artists to participated, everyone that bought artwork,
Alan and his staff at Billetproof corporate headquarters,
and special Thanks to Poorboys, Peckerheads, and Nightmares.

The louver dude with the best truck was great. My boys and I talked to him at length about his truck. That thing is AT ride height, no bags! He says "don't run your fingers under the bumper, it'll cut them off!"

    Great job to all.

So, how many were there? Gotta be at least 600-650. Had a blast. My 5 yr old daughter had fun also. Slept like crazy. She was asleep in the car by the time we hit Dixie (bout 10 minutes)!

  10. Great show. I sold in the swap a few years ago with 11 other guys and had my '40 convert there maybe 3 years ago. Got rained on going home both times. Drove the track roadster this time, never a drop and the show and swap have really grown up.

Had a great time but bailed about 3:30 for the 3 hour drive.

    GOOD JOB everyone.

  11. I enjoyed myself, I didn't really get to talk to anyone but I'm glad I went.

Its funny, i showed up after work and there was only a few people left, (the show was really over), and still i met some wicked people, had a few Laughs, found the answere to 'how many tipsy people it takes to start a bike' and did a few doughnuts in the caddy.
and had a nice drive down andersonville road with only the 331's hum and the sound of gravel shaking itself loose from the earlier doughnuts.

  13. I also can't say enough about the show. First-class all the way.

I was one of the luck ones who kept Safariknut busy layin' stripes all day. What a great guy. Thanks again, Ray - just wish I would have gotten the "Evil 'Son" script on the doors instead of just on the surfer scoop!!!

Also a big thanks to Fuelpump for hooking me up with Safariknut.

Still grinnin' from just thinking about Saturday! :D

What a pregnant idea:D Now who thought of that;) It continues to amaze me how much a little (or in this case a lot:D) of pinstriping brings a hot rod to life visually speaking. I really like what Ray on my 5W as well.

Well, better late than never. I had a great time as usual and it was interesting to be part of the group that puts on the show. Billetproof, Autorama, and The Pileup are the three shows a year that I can't wait for. This year was definitely the best. I missed the first one but I've been there every year since 05. I thought about what Alan said regarding watching projects evolve over the years. Here's a few of my heap since we rolled it into the show in 2007. Hopefully by next year my six deuce setup will be on there for good. Thanks again to everyone involved, can't waity for Billetproof Detroit 2010

P.S. Lets make the show a little later in the day, I left Bay City at 4:40 am in the hot rod:eek:
