It's also very informative. I didn't know that the HAMB's sweetheart is Cynthia Margaret "A rose by any other name is just as sweet".
Congratulations Denise! So you're going to be in Oregon and Washington...When is Big Olds making it to California?
Yeah, I think Becky did a GREAT job of interviewing AND actually taking detailed notes and writing the article. Also, thanks to Mike The Photo Guy for executing a fun photo shoot. Boy did we have a good time, and not once did he fall out of the pickup truck and land on Big Olds' hood! I drove Big Olds to California in the fall of 2005 and spent a week with the R&C staff participating in their Asphalt Ego-Rama. Since Big Olds has never been to OR and WA, and I was cruzn out to B'ville for Speed Week again this year, that I really needed to check off those two states in my "Hot Rodding Across the USA" scrapbook. Before I hit CA again with Big Olds I plan on doing a New England states tour, hitting MA for sure since Big Olds has never been there. Hard to tell in the photos but we were doing between 40-50MPH. Maybe I can get Mike to post some of the ones he took with the really cool backgrounds. He did take some static shots as well as moving ones....yep, he needs a new ladder
Denise, Cynthia, Margaret, Cindy.... I knew it. There are more than one of you. That explains how you make it to all these shows every year. Good article and good photo too.
Way cool. I just signed up to receive Grundy's weekly newsletter. Hopefully more HAMB friendly cars and events will be featured going forward. Thanks, Becky....Don.
One of these days I'll tell you about my twin.....and with enough alcohol I might even show her to you
I had a blast writing that article. Any one insured with us is more than welcome to contact me with a little background about your vehicle-- and a nice photo! And, we'll see what we can do! I write a new story every week edit: submit info to [email protected] thanks
Wow! That's pretty neat! I will be insured with you guys by the end of the year with my Model A. Well... that is if you'll have me... HA!
Thanks, we did it on short notice. There were some issues with shadows. We had a few other backgrounds that I liked but the sun just wouldn't do what we wanted. Mike TPG
