I'd like to see it too, lately I've been gaining appriciation for those Y-blocks, I'm fixin' my Galaxie at a buddy's house and his dad is redoing a 56 T-bird. Neat engines, 50 years ahead of Edelbrock with their "Air-Gap" intakes!

Mike, this thread is useless without some pics man! I'd bet a large sum that this car is a knockout. Y Block has got to look great

I have 2 Y blocks and love them ! They are very dependable and you can get some good power out of them too ! Top with a 3x2 and open headers . Love the sound of a hopped up Y block ! Glad to see you didn't do the crate thing .

  12. Doesn't look like he's ever posted pictures of it here:confused:

Doesn't sound like there's anything to be ashamed of...everyone is always proud to show off their '32...even if it's a pile...and I doubt that's the case here...

    So out with it!

I put a Chrysler Tank engine in my Austin Bantam... didn't take much extra work. I've owned the tank engine since WWII.

I also put an Allison aircraft engine in my mini-bike...

Yeah, I have heard stories like that before... like the guy that has a 32 3window that he paid 3,500 bucks for (it ran) and put a Viper engine and trans in it. no frame mods. only suspension mods.... just a drop axle.

Still havent seen the car or pics of it either.

    Pics please

This guy didn't provide them the last time he posted a thread about this phantom deuce, what makes you think he will now? Or maybe he's like me, no digital camera available and even if I had one I wouldn't take the time to post the pictures.

Here I was going to give you thumbs up for putting a Ford engine into a Ford and a Y block at that .

Now I am starting to wonder if this is what the guy up the street did with his deuce and you are pissed off as hell for taking an idea you had told him if you had that deuce !

PICTURES ? PICTURES ? PICTURES ? OH well .......I guess it won't happen !
