I have a late 235. I'm wanting to use it and an auto gm overdrive trans in my 52 chevy sedan. I've searched the hamb and see that you have to have an adapter to use an auto trans for the early 235. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some info on what to use for the late 235. Is it the same as the early 235? I've only dealed with a chevy 6cyl in my dads combine.

I've seen that link while searching. Just wondering if the late 235 still needs that.
