    Hey everyone,

I've got a 1949 Cadillac 331 engine that I'm rebuilding. Just got my heads back from the machine shop too. Killer.

Problem being that I got rid of all the head bolts when I moved, figuring that I wouldn't need 'em and would just buy new ones. So the guys at the place I'm ordering from need to know the sizes.

Anybody know the sizes for those bolts? The engine has bolt on rocker arm shafts, so there's at least two different bolt sizes.

If you know where I can find them online too, I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks,

    Volo

  2. My parts book lists 7/16"-14 X 3 1/4" and 7/16"-14 X 5 15/16" ...the shorter ones are common for years 49 to 51 and the longer ones are common for 49 to 63.
