I just purchased this. Been trying for years to buy it and out of the blue the guy calls and says........it's yours. I have a couple pics, when I go get it I'll take more pics. Heres the shed.

Thanks, I have not owned a 55 since high school and I'm 54! Been looking for one to keep for a long time. I'm gonna have to fight the raccoons in the trunk for it but they are leaving one way or another!! It's a 6cyl 3 spd. Ask me what I gave for it, c'mon ask me. Hehehe. It will never be sold so...........

Yes, one thousand buckaroo's. I am living proof that in this day and age a poor schmuck like me can find one anyone can!! I almost bought one the other day for $10,000. My wife said, one will come along. She said good things come to those who wait. I said tonight.......as much as I hated too, LOL.........YOUR RIGHT HUN!

 

The dirt on it is worth a grand. Thats one you can tell the grand kids about.

'55's were always my favorite tri-five and it looks like you scored one in really good shape. Be sure to post some pictures after you get her hosed off. With the give away price you paid the cost of anything you need to make it your own will be a sweet pill to swallow. Congrats!

That's not dirt, it's heavy patina! What a deal.

 

I'm excited like a school kid. Not giggly though. LOL. I'm gonna try and go get it first of the week and I'll document the fight with the raccoons and mice. Weird, but I've been saving a set of 15 x 3 1/2 slotted alum wheels since high school off the front of my last 55 just for this occasion. I don't know if I'll be able to sleep tonight!!

Your right Red. It was a weird deal. A friend said...hey, I was talking to a guy about pheasant hunting his ground and he asked if I wanted to buy a pickup. I said oh, I don't know. Well the 55 was in the other side. Then I thought about you telling me you would like to have one like you had in high school. BAM, rest is history. When it's your turn, it's your turn. Remember what my wife said...good things come to those who wait. Shit, she's got me doing it now!
