Sorry guys, I'm dropping a small block chevy into it. I am going old school though. It will be mated up to a 48 ford transmission with a wilcap bellhousing and 53 Mercury clutch. Should be a fun ride. Now only if I had a columbia 2 speed rearend....................
OK if you have to put a SBC in it then so be it. I'll still be sad about the flat head but if you insist on breaking an old mans heart and if you have to put a chevy engine in a car specifically built for a flathead then go ahead. It doesn't bother me. I mean it's just a small deal right. It'll still be a hot rod. It'll just be a hot rod with a SBC in it. God I feel so sad, I'm getting all misty. I'm gonna cry.
Keep an eye on craigslist there is a Columbia two speed that comes up once in awhile in White Bear Lake
