Can anyone tell me what year or range of years these brakes are from? Is there a way to tell? Thanks for the help guys!

They look just like the 11'' X 2'' '54 F100 brakes I have. As far as I know '53 - '56 are the same. Hope that helps

I have '53 F100 brakes on my A and yours look the same.As the other guys have said,'53-'56 F100 brakes are the same.

  5. Got two sets of 56's and the drums are different than those. My drums are flat faced. Wire wheels don't like them. Yours look as if the drum is spaced back some from the hub face. $0.02

The differance between 48-52 and 53-56 is the distance of the wheel mounting surface to the backing plate. I don't have the measurements (on my desktop that crashed, lost TONS of info) but I know someone out there has the article from a hot rod type mag. It gives the differances, shows a pic., anyone know what I'm refering to???

  8. the drums look `53-`56 to me , the earlier `48-`52 look different. FWIW, all internal parts are the same...just the drums and hubs

f100 on the left , f1 on the right
