That is a great picture, thanks for posting it [IMG]

you know I talked to the guy last year that delivered King Kong and the thames to rochester back around 1977? and asked him if he remembers if the thames was a rolling chassis and he said yes, BUT I don't have any pics of the car at my house with the chassis under it, and like I said I cant remember what I would have done with it or where it went.

GlassThamesDoug, do you have the link to the ebay add for the glass Thames bodys??? Thanks again for the pictures. Ron...:D

George Britting gave a group of us his DVD with the info. Great reference for a restoration of the original. Bummer is, I could chop mine to be the King Kong, would have to fill the roof. What I do not know, is if mine was the only "open top" Body? I have not seen any information or notes on any other yet? The Key would be those that worked at Contemporary in the late 60's.

I will look for the ID of the sellers in Canada of the body, I have some pics in their advertisement.

There's an almost complete 100E at a local junkyard that I saw yesterday, just came in. If there's anything anyone wants, let me know and I'll check it out. I think I might grab the seats out of it.

Squa, get a price on the front sheetmetal for me. 100Es/Thames Panels are hard to find in Texas. If I can't find front sheetmetal for my 100E soon, I'm selling the damn thing.

He said he'd take $100 for the front clip. I doubt he would pull it off the car or ship it though, you'd probably have to come and get it. The inner fenders were shitty but the outer sheetmetal looked pretty good.

  20. Here's mine, started out as a 54 Pop/Anglia has been made into a 33-34 window style coupe. Some of the older British Rodders may remember it - it used to have a Daimler 2.5 V8 but now has a 239 Flathead. Spent 54 years in England - now resides in sunnier climes in Australia

Even though I'm a big fan of the '62-5 Mopar B-bodies,the old gassers-Anglias and Thames in particular-always held my interest. They still do-kool rides, folks!

This one is for sale across the creek (Oklahoma). I think it was 600.00/1000.00. If anyone is interested, I'll see if I can get more info (or is that Enfo).

  28. Here's mine. Just a 55 with a 2 litre Pinto, 5 speed box and Capri struts and discs. I recently put a s/s exhaust on it and a big 14 gallon tank between the rear wheel arches. Also fitted the interior from a Fiat Cinquecento Sporting. Got to rewire it soon - so will do a lot of electrical upgrades then.
