Some amazing stuff here as usual! Here's a mixed media piece I did of that coolest of cool orange '55 Chevy custom running around Northern California. Took the pic at the Sacramento Autorama and brought it into Photoshop for some tweaking...

  20. well last saturday and sunday i loaded up cars and trucks
since then my hips been unable to even lift its own weight so i started using illustrator which is a first
so the first one is a image a drew then live traced it
the other is a potential t shirt design when i get the money to print. i drew it mostly in photoshop, and cleaned it up in illustrator
the third was drawn in pen and then illustrator clean up[IMG][IMG][IMG]
i prefer pen and paper but as long as i am working

Here is mine for the week

    Attached Files:

  22. Ed - I took a peek at your website
those pencil drawings are great, you got such good contrast going, they really stand out as much as a painting.
are they on regular cold press illustration board?
what do you spray on them to fix em? you must build up layers of fixative so you don't smear what you have worked on
My guess is over 8 hours in one drawing?

Thanks! Yes cold press. No spray and I try very hard not to smear. Way over 8 hours...

    Dutch - Amazing layout!
General Gow - Those linocuts are rad as hell. The natural texture really make them stand out.

    I haven't posted here in a while - but here's a piece i finished up this week:

18 feet around the outside curve..basically lifesize.

  28. Wow....awesome work, simply awesome.

  29. Believe it or not I can't ship hot sauce over the Canada/US border... it's been declared "bio-terrorism". I wish I was making this up... wonderful world we live in. Maybe I'll bring a case or two to Dixie Fried, if I can smuggle it into the country.

Thanks for the good words, boys.
