Looks great. Can't wait to see more of the build.

  5. Agreed! Kathy fell in love with the sweep on the bottom of the frame first time she saw it (when BenD brought it down from the frozen north/ Reggie's last year) and wanted to echo that in the top of the rail. She also wanted a sweep up in the rear. I think it's Kustom.

  6. These girls are awesome! They've accumulated damn near all the pieces to the puzzle, not the least of which is the T bed, banjo wheel & column, and spoke wheels that really set it off, and although it will have the normal small block they've already got a tripower and a 5speed (real hot rods have 3 pedals!) and will be dressed out right. Now if they can get some more time to spend on it, so I can go watch and/or drink beer.

The frame work is awesome. That turned out into a really cool frame. I hope this truck runs fenders. That chevy fender looks like it could be promising.

I'm glad to have bumped into this thread!

Thanks for all the words of encouragment! Sometimes I feel like my head is barely above water with this build! And speaking of parts - Special shout out to "Brokenspoke" Bill who kept bringing parts. And the wheels were powdercoated by the HAMB's own "Turboroadster" - they turned out beautiful.

I heard you were coming home a few weeks ago. I checked my fridge and there was still beer, so I knew you weren't back yet.;)

Great idea on the truck frame, I have somewhat similar frame that was going under a project that may now get the same treatment to slenderize it a bit in the middle.

It looks like you have a couple of fun projects going there, keep us posted on the progress.
