What a busy weekend.....prepped and painted this '34 Chevy for a fellow club member. Hotrod Flatz Black with AutoAir flames. I had some "issues" with the black. The car was in DP90 for a few years and Pledge was used to keep it looking good. I cleaned the hell out of it, but the HRF still had some serious fisheye action going on. So I ended up cleaning and wet sanding the entire car again Fri and shooting a few more coats of the HRF Black. Came out much nicer 2nd time around. The flames were shot yesterday. Today I'll be pinstripining the flames with white......
Nice classic Flame Job! For a "Pal" huh? What's that mean...Free? Remember what they used to say Ass,Gas,Grass nobody rides for free. I have changed it to Gas,Gas or Gas!
Thanks... Wasn't free, but a good deal...hehe...... Yeah...bias would look better, as would a few other things if they were changed....but it's a neat car that gets driven ALOT...which is more important IMO than having a perfect "traditional" car...
I missed that memo....... Thanks Bill.... I was a little concerned on how it'd turn out, as I had heard from others about "issues" with HotRod Flatz, not mixed properly and it'll have different "sheen"....that and I didn't see any info regarding topcoating with other paints for graphics, etc. 1st time shooting HRF and I'm happy with how she came out..... So was my friend....it drove off @ hour ago.... I'll definitely be using the product again.....
