    been wanting to do the exact same thing on my ranchero's hood!
    looks like i know what my next project will be!

    Looks like a factory scoop. Thats what you want from a Kustom job. Not too shabby for the first go around. Now everyone will want one.

    Gotta hand it to ya, sounds like (doesn't look like) its one of your first custom jobs? Always tough for me too maintain the patience and slow pace required to keep such things fromwarping. Great job, looks like your a natural!

    Thanks again for all of the nice comments, I really appreciate it. Been around custom cars all my life, but this was my first attempt at doing it myself. Got lots more work to do and now I have gotten a little confidence to keep going at it. It is always gratifying to finish something and like it yourself, but to have other like minded individuals like it too, well, you can't beat it. Thanks again!

    Looks excellent!! I had always wanted to do that to the hood of my '63 which is almost identical. Maybe now I will.
