Here's one I shot a few yrs back. It was a ready made mix called
Big Bad Orange. An inexpensive poly ureathane from a SW store (Betz)
FWIW the Competition Orange from the 60's was 1956 Pachard Naples
    Orange, Around here anyway:)

  4. I recently bought some orange paint.
I ordered "Kuboto" orange and what I
    got back is "Califiornia Orange".
They swear it is the same thing.
    Deep and bright.
    Sorry no pics.

I grabbed this off the internet a couple of days back. Not exactly HAMB friendly but such a neat Orange. I want to copy these two colors to my '67 Ranchero driver.

You just can't beat orange when it comes down to head turning colors. I knew right from the start my truck would be orange. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

house of colors intense orange on my 69 bronco looked great for 4 months then started to fade to white looked real bad. Called paint supply company they said would not hold up to sunlight. was not a happy camper. Keep in mind before you buy I learned my lesson.

Not all orange, but with orange accents and still kinda nifty... I really like the #5 sprinter's colors and the Sun Trust Daytona Coupe with the yellow / orange scallop treatment. I think I'm gonna steal that idea! Gary

Its a mix. I made it up myself. The local paint store had some codes for comercial coatings. I used the pigments from the 1 i liked and replaced the binders, and clear in it with uerethane. Its a single stage acrylic uerethane now.

This is Moly orange. It is a single stage acrylic urathane PPG brand. It is orange right out of the can no mixing to get the color. It is very orange in person.
