yep pulled her out of her hole today,,bought her about 3 years ago 1.200 was advertised as a parts car....i put a windsheild in her and found two sets of rear windows. was a nice car at one time, then she was in as fire not on fire just close enough to hurt her, melted all plastic lens, top of seats..broke all windows, melted lead out of seams..so i think its her turn to get fixed..............

That hot? I hope the body isnt all warped to hell is it?
I would rather see a car rescued than parted out as 'too hard', good work

From the pictures it doesn't look like it got hot enough to anneal the sheet metal. I've seen cars exposed to fire that got so soft and warped that they were not repairable. Looks like a solid project. Good luck, The FOGGER

You might want to call this one "Icharus". Flames, maybe?

    Looks Great!

Did you re-solder the seams, or use a modern filler?

I really like the idea of it being a "post" car. It looks great to my eye.

    looks a lot better now.

did you get that Porsche in the background from the San Francisco Bay Area? sold a 1967 in that color a few years back, then found out the mag wheels that were on it were worth more than I sold it for.

  18. Looks good, I would think a sedan in a two-door in that model is uncommon.

Fires are strange sometimes, we had a house fire that completely melted a home phone, and a tissue box right next to it wasn't even black. Nice car.
