Hahahaha, yup. All those are about 5 minutes from my house. I've been to 3-4 yards, and have a had time find even a 79-93 mustang. Sure as hell won't find at old cars at the ones I've been to.
Try Beyers, he is just down the road from me. Real good guy, I think he may be a HAMBer. I'm headin' down to T-ville tonight, but I can drop in and see what he has next week if you want. http://beyerautosalvage.com/
There is no shortage of junk / salvage yards in Florida. Here is the list I have put together (used to live and build in Palm Harbor, FL): Florida Junk Yards / Salvage Yards List
There`s a guy in gainsville, but i heard you can only get in on wednesday, but has a ton of old stuff. There is also a guy in deland, and the old gold yard, but as the name implies you have to own fort knox to afford it.
We rode out to Old Gold a few months ago and had no luck, supposedly they are cleaning it out and closing shop.
I found one on craigslist in Debary, Fl. (386) area code, they say nothing newer than 1975, But I have never been there. Another yard that is good is in Williston, no Plymouths but a good yard, and ok prices when he gets to know you...
The yard in debary is American Auto salvage;386-668-0444,ask for Kenny,a real good guy with a lot of '50's;'60's and early '70's stuff. Just remember there isn't much good stuff in Florida;usually aborted projects and refugees from the north. Kenny will treat you right!!!!!!!!!!!
I spoke with someone from Old Gold recently, I think it was at Spring Daytona. I was asking about a tinted windshield for my '53 Plymouth. He said they crushed all the Mopars they had last year. Ouch! Lee
