Event Coverage All Deuces Run 09 ( to Blowing Rock NC )

It is that time again ... for the ALL DEUCES Run to Blowing Rock NC.

4 or 5 Hambers usually show up ... along with some other 32 Ford folks.
No attitudes, no drama ... just folks with 32 Fords getting them out for a nice Saturday drive to Blowing Rock NC via some neat old paved roads abd the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Here is one of the stops overlooking the Blue Ridge Parkway

 

We had a good time at last years Deuce Run and looking forward to this year,,,great people,beautiful Blue Ridge mountians.

We plan on being there! HRP

 

Last year was the first time I missed. I was sick but I plan on being there this year.

 

Dam you guys have all the fun. Nebraska is a bit far but I'll be thinkin of ya and looking forward to some pics.

 

I am planning on buying PLOWBOY's Deuce 5W so maybe oneday I can attend!!

I'm going to have make that run one of these years! Maybe two years from now when I'm retired, that will be my first trip I'll have to take. It sure looks like some beautiful roads and scenery (especially when you have Deuces to look at out your windshield and rear view mirror)! Thanks for posting Randy!

Looks like a good way to start the hot rod season. I'd like for the missus and I to take in this one. Maybe after the 5w is roadworthy. The 2dr is a proven road warrior but it's a little rough around the edges for her to be comfortable for that many miles.

Hard to do ... but ... this year is shaping up NICELY ... according to some of the folks I have been talking with. Some new faces and new Deuces are saying they are coming

National Weather Service is predicting a nice day this Saturday ( May the 30th 2009 ) ... Should be a good turnout.



This 3W is usualy at the run.
Even if you do not have a Deuce ... or a running Deuce ...
feel WELCOME to come out to the meeting place on Saturday morning and hang out, shoot the breeze. The same thing goes for Canyons resturant in Blowing Rock NC ( our end desination ) .

 

Anybody coming from Georgia that is making plans to go on the run we are meeting up at the McDonalds in South Carolina on 85 and 81 for the first leg of the run to Cornelius, North Carolina,,,

We will be in the 32 pickup again this year,, HRP

We are leaving EXIT # 27 on I - 77 ( from the Hardee's ) at 7:30 AM Saturday ... for those coming up 1-77 ...

I will be there, driving my blue 32 3W coupe
and I am bringing a friend from Ohio with me in his 32 roadster

 

Well the weather looks good for the run!

I know all you folks will have a great time!

Look out for that old guy with the beard and a black roadster!

Your going to have to wait on your brother to post,,,I had a catastrophic camera failure dammit!

But I can tell you we had a great time and more 32's than any Deuce run I have attend in the past,,,I think the number was 27 at last count.

The majority of Deuces were roadsters,5-windows,3-windows,a 4-door and my truck,,and Slick 50 followed along in his caddy and played caboose.

We had one guy,Henderson is his last name,from Ohio showed up in a killer highboy roadster.

And you know the ol' road dog Randy,,,he had to follow us back to Anderson for the cruise in and left here about 10:00 PM last night for the last 100 or so miles back home. HRP
