Since you brought up being not mexican, well even though George wishes he was born in Mexico, he was born right here in L.A. So does that mean he should of painted a half american and half mexican flag on the roof??

 

I agree with most, the flag is lame!
So are murals on trunk lids and tailgates. Hang that stuff on your walls at home not on your car!
And lettering 'Peggy Sue' or 'Lost in the 50's' on the sides. Puleeez!!

Don't front my set. I ate some tacos the other day, so I'm part Mexican. By tomorrow, I'll be 100% cracker again. George Lopez is not that funny, but he appeals more to the Mexican community. George Carlin however is hilarious, but he appeals probably more to crackers, like me. Mr. Carlin has a bit where he says it's stupid to be proud of your heritage, saying that "It's a genetic fucking accident". It's like saying, I'm proud to be five foot nine. That's funny. I like the artwork on this car, it's very nice. I even like the colors, but I think early fifties Chevies suck, so you just can't win them all.

I am english/irish...and proudly use my family code of arms (my icon thingy to the left) as a tribute to my heritage. I imagine that George is doing the same since he probably has family in mexico or at some point and time his family came to america from Mexico.

Carlos proclaiming he is hispanic/mexican is like me proclaiming I am austrialian...think I will go crack a tinnie on that note. G'day!

I never knew George Lopez had a Fleetline built... That's cooler that sh!t!!! I'm a huge fan... I'm sure my fellow Chicano's will agree, no other comedian, Mexican, Latino or whatever hits home like he does. That's why we think he's so damn funny. He's the best!!! And to know he has a fleetline, pues that makes it even better!!!

That gives me an idea to paint a bigass New Mexican flag on the roof of mine...that's a beautiful car...great work!!!
