Featuring Billy Gibbons and Peter Chapouris. They were the star attraction of the whole weekend. Sadly weather was grim both days, but hey, we still had fun. And Billy took some pics of my car!! I love this tail dragger
This is my friends old mans car, spent 18 years getting it to where it is, got a reg/wof Fri lunch time. Has an injected 305 out of a corvette I am sure there will be more photos to come from other members that attended, Lee.
Great Pics. Looks like the weather wasn't too bad. Never let it get in the way of a good time. Cheers mate. .
A pretty good show/swap meet on the Sunday. The rain held off, and there was around 550 cars turned up. Cooon, was that your 51 Ford, blue with personal plates? If so, nice ride man. Shame I did'nt get to meet you.
I'm always amazed at the cool N.Z. rods, especially considering the enhanced difficulty and expense of getting parts. Great pics.
Yeah thats me spinner, at one stage they said over the loud speaker there were 615 cars! Pretty decent for little old Napier. My mate got some pics of billy when he jammed out a few songs on Saturday night . I will try get them and post it up. Aswell as any more car photos.
Original sketch by Kurt Goodin of New Zealand, signed by Billy Gibbons at Marineland Rod Run, Napier New Zealand, Sunday 3 May 09.
thanx for the pix. my kid went on scholarship to the univ. queensland in Australia and spent time in new zealand. he really liked both countries.
Cool nice to see more photos, I had no idea about that guys flathead paradise, and I live in Napier. Was quite nice having a car event and not having to travel hours away for once too.
