I know anybody who has messed around with Tri-5 Chevys and Chevy trucks through at least '62 has encountered clutch-head fasteners. They're also on Holley carbs.

For the Chevy guys, when did they stop using them--on cars and trucks, if possible.
For Ford and Mopar guys, did they ever use them, and if so, thru what years?

I think chevy used the clutch heads thru at least the 1st series 55 truck.

Early 80's Chevy 2-Ton Step-Vans(bread trucks) used them on mirror and body brackets.

They're on the Chevy trucks at least thru '62, and I'd be very surprised if not '63, since I found them holding the window lift mechanisms on my truck.
Try to find out how long after that they were used. (doing a little research for a story)
